Sony intros RDP-X50iP Speaker Dock for iPod/iPhone

Sony extends its speaker docks for the Apple’s iPod and iPhone with the new RDP-X50iP model, which resembles the RDP-XF100iP and RDP-X80iP models and has pretty same features in compact, minimalist design.
The RDP-X50iP has measures of  356 × 158.1 × 151.9 mm (W x H x D) and weights approx. 1.8 kg, it packs digital amplifier capable to deliver 20W + 20W output RMS, has two 3-inch bass reflex speaker design, that promise “rich and powerful bass”,  “clear midrange and crisp high frequency reproduction”. The system comes with various pre-set modes for different styles of music, like (Rock/Pop/Jazz/Vocal/Flat), tere’s also a standard 30-pin dock connector for connecting to and charge all iPhone or iPod, a 3.5-mm auxiliary input and omnidirectional infra-red remote for the usual controls.

JVC UX-J51 CD Micro Audio System with iPod dock

JVC unveils a new CD micro component audio system with built-in iPod dock,  featuring FM/AM tuner, clock/timer and USB 2.0 input for instant audio playback from USB storage devices.
The new JVC UX-J51 features CONEQ technology for optimized audio performance, has a pair of two-way speakers, each with one-inch (2.5cm) soft-dome tweeter and a 4.3-inch (11cm) cone woofer and system features separate left and right channel amplifiers, each with 40 watts power. You be able to control its functions via top-mounted touch keys illuminated in blue and large, silver knob for volume on the main unit’s front panel, but there is and a remote control too.

To make it more convenient, JVC also include a digital optical input and output, analog input and output, aux input, and a subwoofer preout, a front-panel headphone jack, FM and AM antenna jacks and banana speaker jacks. The JVC UX-J51 will be available in October for $399.95

Yamaha’s new HI-FI components include stereo receivers, integrated amplifier and AM/FM stereo tuner

Yamaha presents a new lineup for classic audio enthusiasts with retro design harkening back to the finest Yamaha components of the 1970s and 1980s.
The new family includes Hi-Fi stereo receivers R-S700, R-S500 and R-S300, the A-S500 integrated amp and T-S500 matching tuner. The receivers lineup feature extruded aluminum front panel and Yamaha’s ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) with ART base chassis construction to fully protect audio signals from noise and vibration. Both R-S700 and R-S500 offer A, B or A+B speaker selection and  have integrated receivers featuring Yamaha’s Zone 2 technology, that making it easy for someone in another room to listen to music and even control playback. The R-S700($549.95) advanced features include continuously variable loudness control, CD Direct Amplification, along with Yamaha iPod dock connection, SIRIUS Radio Ready and 40-station AM/FM, as well gold–plated speaker terminals and dual aluminum heat sinks for crisp, clean sound. The other two model – R-S500($399.95) delivers 75 watts per channel output, while the R-S300($329.95) provides 50 watts per channel.

Yamaha also has a propose and for those preferring a truly classic separate component design – the A-S500 integrated amp and T-S500 matching tuner. With price tag of $449.95, the A-S500 offers 85 watts per channel output, dual aluminum extruded heat sinks, iPod dock connection, gold–plated speaker terminals and Yamaha’s Pure Direct technology enables signal to travel the shortest possible route, bypassing non-essential circuitry and “tone controls for the purest reproduction of sound.”

And finally the user-friendlyT-S500tuner offers convenient tuning functions, two-line display and also utilize Yamaha’s new HiFi component design that matches the A-S500 .

JBL releses On Stagei Micro III/IV iPod and iPhone Docks

The new additions to well known portable JBLs iPod and iPhone compatible docks, feature a new industrial design called “Wave” and Odyssey aluminum-domed transducers that promise more accurate, high-frequency and four octaves of rich mid- to low frequency sound.

The JBL’s mini docking sound systems can be powered by AC adapter or or four AAA batteries/six for On Stage IV, that will provide up to 16/24 hours of normal play. The JBL On Stage Micro IV packs four 25mm JBL Odyssey transducers, “emitting rich and clear sound for any environment”, while the smaller the JBL On Stage Micro III is equipped with two transducers. Both systems include an IR remote with fully functioning control from up to 15 feet away, have a built-in stereo mini-jack input for connecting to other digital music players and can sync with iTunes on both  PC and Mac via USB 2.0, as well charge your iPhone or iPod, even when the system is off.
