Turtle Beach reveals new Gaming Headsets for PlayStation 3, XBOX 360 and PC

Premium gaming peripherals maker Turtle Beach has announced its new headsets for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 consoles, and PC gamers. The new offer includes three new models – the Ear Force PX5 Programmable Wireless Surround Sound Headset, Ear Force P11 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset for PS3/PC, and the XC1 XBOX LIVE Communicator Headset, which will all debut during this year CES  in Las Vegas.
For the Wireless Dolby 7.1 PX5,  Turtle Beach says that is the most technologically-advanced headset ever designed for PS3 and XBOX 360 gaming. It features a programmable digital signal processor to allow independent customization of the chat, game and microphone signals. The headset packs 50mm diameter speakers with neodymium magnets with frequency response of 20Hz – 20kHz, >120dB SPL @ 1kHz and a condenser microphone. The manufacturer also claims that the PX5 is the first headset to incorporate dual radios—one Dolby Digital surround sound game audio and a second for chat on the PlayStation Network via Bluetooth. The Bluetooth features dual-pairing mode and A2DP compatibility, so the headset supports stereo audio streaming for listening to music while playing a game and can accept a phone call while wearing the headset.

They comes with wireless transmitter with build- in volume control and plenty of in/out ports. The PX5 is PS3, XBOX 360 and PC compatible and user can stored up to 18 personalized presets custom settings which can be selected during specific parts of the game to emphasize sounds like footsteps or reloads that might otherwise be difficult to hear. The headsets operates with two AA batteries which “power up” the gaming session for up to 15 hours. The will be available this spring for $249.95.

The next one is Ear Force P11 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset designed for the PlayStation 3 and also compatible with PC/Mac. They are also equipped with 50mm drivers, condenser microphone and in-line amplifier with Mic mute switch and independent Chat and game audio controls. The P11 also features oversized fabric mesh ear cushions and  Bass Boost for more depth and realism to the game audio. They also will land this spring for $59.95.

And finally is the affordable Ear Force XC1 Communicator headset ($24.95) which is designed specifically for the XBOX 360. The XC1 offers adjustable, single ear lightweight design with slotted ear cup and 40mm diameter speaker with frequency Response of 20 – 20,000Hz, microphone with flexible boom and in-line mute switch and volume control.

At this year CES, Creative reveals its new Sound Blaster Tactic 3D wireless gaming headset that works across all gaming platforms-  PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac.
The Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Omega does not require any extra attachments to function with gaming consoles wirelessly. The headset has FullSpectrum 50mm drivers like in its sibling 3D Sigma, a detachable noise-cancelling microphone and volume, mute and connection controls integrated directly on the earcups. They feature Creative’s wireless technology which promise to “eliminate static interference, which affects other headsets, and delivers game audio with ultra-low latency, a critical feature for competitive game play.”

The Tactic 3D Omega has a lightweight design with customisable illuminated earcups and comes with a base station which has line in to use it also with TVs or MP3 players. They are powered by a rechargeable battery that promise 6-8 hours usage and is scheduled to be available in February for $199.

ASTRO Gaming releases 2011 Edition of the A40 Gaming Headset

ASTRO Gaming announced the release of the 2011 Edition version of its award-winning and official licensed headset of Major League Gaming (MLG) – the A40 Gaming Headset. The A40 is available in wired in wireless version, in both classic white and black colors.
The Multi-Platform A40 2011 Edition has a new and improved microphone which blocking out the noisy environment, as well new ear cushions for better sound isolation and more bass. For all the fans of Undertaker, The Rock, Triple H, Steve “Stone Cold” Austin and all Wrestling legends, Mad Catz announced a range of licensed products themed with WWE Westlers for the release of WWE All-Stars game.
The first is the arcade-style BrawlStick which feature ergonomic slanted top panel, Dual-speed Turbo functionality for each button with LED Indicators, D-Pad switch that let you to alternate between D-Pad and Analog Sticks for maximum control flexibility, plus Start and Select/Back Buttons will be located on the back of the BrawlStick to minimizie the risk of accidental interruptions. The stick is available for both PS3 and Xbox360 and will cost you $79.99.

Duke Nukem Forever finally gets a release date

Come gets some!!! Finally, after 13 years of development, the ass-kicking hero Duke Nukem has returned. 2K Games and Gearbox Software just announced that Duke Nukem Forever first-person shooter video game will be released on May 3 2011 in the US, and May 6 in other territories for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
In the new installment,  you of course will save the world once again with the uber macho Duke Nuke and will blowing away pigcops with his signature babe-lovin’, cigar-smoking, beer-chugging and ass-kicking style.

“The moment fans all over the world have been waiting for is almost here,” declared Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K. “May 3, 2011 marks Duke’s return as he unleashes his brash and brutally honest wit on the world. His return is going to be epic and one that will make video gaming history!”

Atlantic’s Spyder Gaming Hub store your consoles and accessories

California-based Atlantic Inc comes up with a new offer for gamers and all of their accessories and peripherals. The Spyder Gaming Hub is a metal TV stand, constructed from 12 parts, which will store your HDTV, consoles, motion controllers and your favourite games.
Spyder Gaming Hub has a steel frame structure and Atlantic says that it takes less than 30 minutes to be assembled. It offers solid stability, open architecture which assist for better airflow and is appropriate for up to 40-inch LCD TVs (up to 90 lb).  It has steel center cylinder, component shelf that can handle three consoles weighing up to 60 lbs, twelve game cartridge rack and adjustable non-marring feet.

Sypder also include a rear mounted power strip tray and wire management cleat, as well and two VESA 400×400 mounting brackets with hooks for easy attachment of a flat screens. It will be available in April for $149.
