The dock system features edge shape design with discreet lines and a flat front panel and packs two 3” full-range drivers and a 4” subwoofer for deep bass. It has on-board volume, bass, and treble controls, and component and composite video out jacks, allowing you to watch full screen Netflix movies and YouTube videos on a television from an iPhone or iPod Touch.
The Octiv 650 automatically pauses when a call is received on your iPhone, also has auxiliary port to hook up any other audio devices and comes with a remote control. Altec Lansing also offers a free Music Mood app which let you watch and listen to a number of serene videos and sounds such as a crackling fireplace or a calming river stream with the app’s Ambient Sound and Visual Library and also includes a graphic equalizer for customization of the sound.
The Altec Lansing Octiv 650 will be available in May 2011 in black and slate for $199.95.
